Do your lenders accept people discharged from bankruptcy?

In some circumstances, YES 👍

If you have been discharged and your bankruptcy is showing as discharged on your credit file our lenders will consider your application.

If your credit file has not been updated, you may need to send your preferred lender a copy of your discharge papers.

If you do not have a copy, you can get one from the trustee who handled your bankruptcy or from the court where you were made bankrupt.

  • If you are currently bankrupt, our lenders won’t be able to help you.
