Guarantors do not need to be in full-time employment, so long as they
- Have a regular income (which can include wages, pensions, and benefits)
- Meet the lender’s criteria
- Are able to comfortably able to afford the monthly repayments if the borrower is unable, and will show this by completing a budget for the lender.
