Our lenders specialise in people with a poor credit score. Details of the credit checks that happen:
a. When getting quotes
- Our lenders use a Quotation search on both you and your Guarantor.
- This is a soft search only and will not affect your credit score.
b. When applying to your preferred lender
Both the borrower and guarantor will have a full credit check
- Borrower – to ensure they are not insolvent or bankrupt, plus different lenders will check other things such as being on the electoral roll.
- Guarantor – to ensure they have a clean (or marginally imperfect) credit rating
