Do you need some extra money but are worried about the reputation of some fast cash loans?
We understand that there has been lots of negative publicity about high profile payday loan providers. This is why we never recommend these types of loan that use perceived lending risk as a way to justify very high interest rates.
There are, however, many responsible lenders who are able to offer fast cash loans at a much more affordable rate as long as you have not been declared bankrupt and are not subject to a CCJ or Trust Deed.
Sounds good but how quickly can I get my money?
This depends a little bit on how much you would like to borrow. If you are applying for a loan of up to £500 the funds are usually available within a couple of hours. If you would like to borrow a larger amount it could take up to 24 hours to receive your money.
To find out more about how much you can borrow and the likely repayment costs you can use our loan calculator before you apply online. Once you have filled in the application form there is no obligation to take out a loan if you change your mind or need some more time to decide.
Poor credit history and refused credit in the past? We can help.
Our lenders specialise in helping those with a poor credit history who may not be eligible for more traditional lending. Applications are dealt with on a case by case basis and as long as you are able to afford the loan repayments your case will be considered.
We are able to arrange these loans because the lending decisions are not based on the credit rating of the applicant but rather on the friend or family member they ask to act as a guarantor on the loan. This is someone who will be prepared to pick up responsibility for the repayments if the borrower is unable to do so.
So, who can be your guarantor?
This could be anyone you choose from a friend or colleague to a family member. They must be a UK resident but can be a tenant or a homeowner depending on the individual lenders requirements. Generally they should also be aged between 18 and 75 for the duration of the loan and they should, of course, have a good credit history.
Your chosen backer will need to go through the application process with your so the lender has access to all the information they need in order to approve your loan. A spouse is not considered to be a suitable guarantor as they are judged to be financially dependent on the applicant.
If you find yourself having problems with the affordability of your loan repayments it is very important that you inform both your lender and your backer immediately. In most cases it is a relatively straightforward process to bring down the repayments so you are able to continue with the loan. If, however, you do not keep up these payments it is ultimately the responsibility of your guarantor to clear the loan.
