We cannot tell you who you should borrow money from just as we cannot tell you how much you should borrow and for how long. What we can do, however, is make sure that we provide you with a range of offers from the best guarantor loans we can find.
Your choice of loan will come down to a range of different criteria from the loan amount and the term to your guarantor and domestic status. Most companies will offer loans of between £500 and £7500 over a period of up to 60 months. Some will offer larger sums over longer periods so depending on your requirements a longer term might be better for you. Similarly, if you hope to be able to repay the debt early you will need to ensure there are no fees applicable.
Your choice of loan will also be determined by whether you are a homeowner or not. Often lenders are happy for tenants to borrow from them but usually this is a slightly lower amount and the APR may vary. If your guarantor is not a homeowner the terms of your loan may also be affected. The best lender for you might not, therefore, be the one that looks the best at first glance.
All the lenders we work with offer slightly different guarantor loan solutions but all are good quality and reliable. If you have a poor credit history and have struggled to obtain finance in the past we can help find the right solution for you. Unlike conventional loans, a guarantor loan doesn’t rely on your credit rating but that of the person you ask to guarantee your borrowing. They should be an adult UK resident with a good credit history and, most importantly, they should be prepared to keep up the loan repayments if you are unable to do so. They must not be financially dependent on you so not a spouse or adult child living at home.
To find out more about how much you can borrow we have an online form that is quick and easy to complete. Once you have done so our lenders will have offers back to you within moments.
